Former Chief Minister Balochistan and founder of the Balochistan Education Endowment Fund (BEEF), Dr. Abdul Malik Baloch, visited the BEEF office where he was given a detailed briefing on the institution’s overall performance, ongoing educational initiatives, and scholarship schemes.

 

BEEF Chief Executive Officer Khalid Mandai welcomed Dr. Abdul Malik Baloch and apprised him of the organization’s scholarship programs and the measures being taken to support students across the province. He explained that BEEF is implementing a wide range of scholarships designed to provide quality education opportunities to talented and deserving students on merit, enabling them to continue their academic journey without financial constraints.

 

The briefing outlined scholarships including the Fully Funded District Topper Scholarship, which provides complete financial support to high‑achieving students from each district, the Transgender Scholarship offering assistance to transgender students, the Civil Shuhada Scholarship supporting children of civilian martyrs, and the Fully Funded Sadiq Public School Scholarship enabling selected students to pursue quality education at Sadiq Public School. Other schemes include the Cadet Excellence Scholarship for outstanding cadet college students, the Out of Province Scholarship for Balochistan students studying outside the province, and the Partially Funded Scholarship which helps eligible students meet their educational expenses.

 

CEO Khalid Mandai emphasized that BEEF’s scholarship system is based on merit and transparency, ensuring equal access to educational opportunities for students from all regions of Balochistan.

 

Dr. Abdul Malik Baloch praised BEEF’s initiatives, noting that providing quality education to the province’s youth is vital for a brighter future. He stressed the importance of merit, transparency, and accessibility in scholarship distribution, and expressed keen interest in the institution’s administrative and educational activities during his visit. He also toured various departments of BEEF and reviewed its operational and academic functions.

 

The visit concluded with discussions between BEEF officials and Dr. Abdul Malik Baloch on current programs and strategies to further expand educational opportunities for students across Balochistan.
