QUETTA: The Balochistan Technical Education and Vocational Training Authority (B-TEVTA) and the National Vocational and Technical Training Commission (NAVTTC) have agreed to strengthen mutual cooperation to equip the province’s youth with modern technical skills, making them eligible for international employment. This commitment was reaffirmed during an important meeting between MD B-TEVTA, Abdul Kabeer Khan Zarkoon, and DG NAVTTC, Dr. Hussain Bakhsh Magsi.
During the meeting, detailed discussions were held on empowering a maximum number of youth in Balochistan, equipping vocational training centers across the province with state-of-the-art machinery and equipment, and meeting the growing demand for skilled manpower in the Gulf (GCC) and other international markets. It was decided that priority would be given to providing high-level technical training and employment opportunities to the youth of Balochistan so they can capitalize on job prospects in Gulf countries and worldwide.
MD B-TEVTA Abdul Kabeer Khan Zarkoon and DG NAVTTC Dr. Hussain Bakhsh Magsi stated that these initiatives are part of the vision of Prime Minister of Pakistan Mian Shehbaz Sharif and Chief Minister of Balochistan Mir Sarfraz Bugti, which aims to equip the province’s youth with modern technology and technical expertise.
