Pakistan Peoples Party (PPP) Chairman Bilawal Bhutto Zardari has pledged constitutional reforms for Azad Jammu and Kashmir (AJK) if his party secures a two-thirds majority in the upcoming elections, describing the polls as a defining moment for the region’s future.
Addressing an election rally in Mirpur, Bilawal said the upcoming vote was not an ordinary election but one that would shape the future of AJK.
He urged voters to make a decision that would guarantee a brighter future for the region.
The PPP chairman said his party shared a decades-long relationship with the people of Mirpur and expressed confidence that PPP candidates would be elected to serve the public.
Bilawal said the PPP remained committed to securing greater constitutional and political rights for the people of both Gilgit-Baltistan and Azad Kashmir.
