federal government has announced an increase in the prices of petroleum products, with the revised rates taking effect from midnight.
According to a notification issued by the Petroleum Division, the price of petrol has been increased by Rs6.39 per litre, raising the new retail price to Rs327.12 per litre.
The price of high-speed diesel (HSD) has been increased by Rs7.83 per litre, bringing its new price to Rs375.04 per litre.
The Petroleum Division said the revised prices were determined on the recommendation of the Oil and Gas Regulatory Authority (OGRA).
