BRA conducts awareness drive at Marriage Halls in Quetta

The Balochistan Revenue Authority (BRA) team conducted visits to various marriage halls in Quetta. During the inspections, managements were briefed about the provisions of the Balochistan Sales Tax on Services Act, 2015, and were issued notices to ensure compliance with tax laws and fulfill applicable requirements.

The BRA team highlighted the importance of registration, proper tax compliance, accurate record‑keeping, and timely payment of dues in accordance with the law.

Officials emphasized that the Authority’s objective is not only to facilitate taxpayers but also to ensure transparency in the tax system, expand the tax net, and strengthen provincial revenue generation.

Business establishments were urged to fulfill their responsibilities under the law and contribute to a fair and transparent taxation framework.
