Balochistan CM Sarfraz Bugti vows safe, quality healthcare on World Patient Safety Day

 

Quetta, On the occasion of World Patient Safety Day, Chief Minister Balochistan Mir Sarfraz Bugti reiterated his government’s commitment to ensuring safe, quality, and timely healthcare for all patients across the province.

 

The Chief Minister emphasized that providing secure and reliable medical care is the government’s fundamental responsibility. He noted that the provincial administration is actively pursuing reforms in the health sector to improve facilities and strengthen service delivery.

 

Sarfraz Bugti highlighted that the government’s focus remains on upgrading hospital infrastructure, enhancing the capacity of medical staff, and introducing modern systems to ensure effective healthcare. He stressed that continuous and safe medical care is particularly vital for patients suffering from non‑communicable diseases such as heart disease, diabetes, and cancer.

 

“Patient safety is the foremost priority of an effective healthcare system, and the Government of Balochistan will further strengthen measures to safeguard patients,” the Chief Minister said.
