Aurangzeb Khichi lauds Tameer‑i‑Nau Trust’s role in promoting rducation, literature, and ulture

Quetta, Federal Minister for National Heritage and Culture Aurangzeb Khan Khichi has praised the Tameer‑i‑Nau Trust Balochistan for its significant contribution to advancing educational, literary, and cultural activities in the province.

 

Addressing a special interactive session with students at Tameer‑i‑Nau College, Ghazali Campus, Quetta, organized under the Rahmat‑ul‑Lil Alameen and Khatam‑un‑Nabiyeen Club, the Minister said that the youth are the nation’s most valuable asset. He emphasized the vital role of educational institutions in shaping their academic, literary, and intellectual development, and underscored the importance of connecting the younger generation with national heritage, language, and cultural values.

 

The Minister was warmly welcomed by students with flowers, a red carpet, and traditional hospitality. The program began with Quran recitation, followed by naats, Asma‑ul‑Husna, and performances of Allama Iqbal’s poetry.

 

Secretary of Tameer‑i‑Nau Trust Muhammad Naseem Lehri delivered the welcome address, highlighting the Trust’s initiatives in education, training, literature, and culture. He said the institution organizes diverse programs to provide quality education while linking students with national values and traditions.

 

A key highlight of the event was the distribution of scholarships under the Haji Musaddiq Ali Scholarship 2026, with three students receiving Rs. 200,000 each — a total of Rs. 600,000 — to support deserving and high‑achieving students. The ceremony also showcased glimpses of the International Iqbal Conference 2025, reflecting the Trust’s literary and intellectual contributions.

 

Dr. Mazhar Saleem, Director General of the National Language Promotion Department, addressed the gathering, stressing the importance of language and literature in preserving cultural identity. He encouraged students to actively engage in reading and literary activities.

 

A documentary highlighting the Trust’s educational journey was screened, while students presented Iqbal’s poetry and a welcome tableau. The Minister was honored with a traditional cap and a commemorative shawl from the Iqbal Conference.

 

In his closing remarks, Brigadier (R) Abdul Jaleel Khan, Chairman of Tameer‑i‑Nau Trust, thanked the Federal Minister, Dr. Mazhar Saleem, distinguished guests, teachers, and students. He reaffirmed the Trust’s commitment to academic excellence and the moral, literary, and intellectual training of students.
