Creation of new provinces key to balanced development: Bilal Khan Kakar

Vice Chairman of the Balochistan Investment Board, Bilal Khan Kakar, has said that the creation of new provinces is essential for Pakistan’s improved administrative, economic, and social development.

In a statement, Bilal Kakar emphasized that dividing large administrative units would enhance the performance of government institutions, ensure more effective delivery of basic services to citizens, and accelerate the development of underprivileged regions. He noted that restructuring Pakistan’s administrative framework in line with public needs has become a pressing requirement of the time.

According to him, the establishment of new provinces would reduce the gap between the government and the people, while creating fresh opportunities for employment, investment, education, healthcare, and other sectors at the local level. He added that improved administrative division would allow for fair and efficient distribution of resources, empowering remote areas to address their challenges more effectively.

Bilal Khan Kakar further stated that such reforms would strengthen the capacity of local governments and administrations, speeding up the decision-making process for resolving public issues. He stressed that the creation of new provinces could bring balance to regional development and help integrate marginalized areas more effectively into the national mainstream.

Highlighting the importance of resource-rich regions, he said that a robust administrative system is vital to ensure that local populations benefit from their natural wealth and that new avenues for investment and development are opened.
