Zia Langau calls for peace, education, and unity

Government open to dialogue, But not with armed Gun groups

Quetta, Provincial Home Minister Mir Ziaullah Langau has emphasized that the path forward for Balochistan lies in choosing pen over violence, development over destruction, and peace over hatred. He said that the government has never refused dialogue, but negotiations cannot be held under the shadow of the gun.

Speaking during meetings with various delegations, Zia Langau said it is time to move beyond debates over who should be part of negotiations and instead focus collective attention on the development, peace, and prosperity of the province and country. He stressed that terrorism, violence, and hatred must be rejected, and those seeking to destroy peace, divide people, and harm innocent lives will not succeed.

The Minister highlighted that the real strength of the nation lies in unity, education, hard work, awareness, and love for the homeland. He urged youth to make the pen their weapon, pursue education, and contribute to shaping the destiny of the country through parliamentary and democratic struggle.

Drawing comparisons with developed nations, Langau noted that progress is achieved when citizens stand firmly with their state and constitutional institutions. He said there is no example in the world where the state system has been weakened in favor of those who take up arms against it. Negotiations, he added, remain open only for those who accept Pakistan’s constitution and state system, but terrorism and violence cannot be allowed as tools to impose demands.

The Home Minister stressed the need to build a future for coming generations where peace, education, employment, development, and prosperity prevail.
