Quetta Youth Sports Promotion: Raisani distributes kits, calls for facilities
Quetta, Pakistan People’s Party MNA Nawabzada Jamal Khan Raisani has said that supporting young athletes and reviving sports grounds in Quetta is the need of the hour. Addressing a ceremony at Ayub Stadium Quetta, he emphasized that sports channel the abilities of youth in a positive direction, connect them with healthy activities, and enable them to play constructive roles in society.
From his special fund, Raisani distributed sports kits and equipment among players, particularly those from NA-264 Saryab, covering football, cricket, hockey, badminton, boxing, and karate. The event witnessed enthusiastic participation from male and female athletes, who expressed joy at receiving the equipment.
The ceremony was attended by Provincial Secretary for Sports and Youth Affairs Durra Baloch, PPP leaders Mir Fareed Khan Raisani, Shehzada Khan Kakar, Sports Wing President Haji Mir Riaz Ahmed Shahwani, Hadi Askari Hazara, coaches, athletes, and community members.
Jamal Raisani said that Quetta’s youth possess immense talent and only require proper facilities, training, and opportunities. He stressed that providing sports infrastructure not only nurtures abilities but also keeps youth away from negative activities. He highlighted that female participation is encouraging and society must ensure opportunities for women in every positive field, including sports.
He pledged continued support for athletes, particularly from Quetta and NA-264 Saryab, to help them showcase their skills at national and international levels. At the conclusion, sports kits were distributed among players, who praised Raisani’s efforts and termed them a source of encouragement for youth.
