CM Bugti orders treatment of acid attack victim at Aga Khan Hospital

 

Quetta, Chief Minister Balochistan Mir Sarfraz Bugti has directed immediate medical assistance for a woman injured in a suspected acid attack in Mastung, ordering her treatment at Aga Khan Hospital Karachi at government expense.

 

According to Aide to the Chief Minister for Media and Political Affairs Shahid Rind, the victim, Bibi Laiba, wife of Kaleemullah, will be provided the best possible medical facilities, with the government ensuring all necessary arrangements. He confirmed that a case has been registered regarding the incident in Killi Bibri, Mastung, and police investigations are underway.

 

Shahid Rind emphasized that the victim will receive not only medical care but also full legal support. He stated that violence against women, including acid attacks, is unacceptable under any circumstances, and those involved will face strict action in accordance with the law.

 

He added that all relevant institutions have been tasked with ensuring the victim’s treatment, protection, and welfare, while investigations will proceed transparently under legal provisions.
