Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif has strongly condemned Houthi attacks targeting civilian and energy facilities in Saudi Arabia, with 73 people reportedly injured across several cities.
The attacks, carried out by Yemen’s Houthi group Ansar Allah, targeted areas including Abha, Khamis Mushait, Najran and Jazan. Women and children were among those wounded in the strikes.
In a post on social media platform X, Shehbaz Sharif described the attacks as cowardly and dastardly, saying such actions posed a direct threat to innocent lives as well as regional peace and security.
