Hot Weather to persist across Balochistan; light rain likely in northern and coastal areas

 

Quetta, The Regional Meteorological Center (RMC) Quetta has forecast mainly hot conditions across most districts of Balochistan over the next 48–72 hours, with very hot weather expected in Nokkundi, Washuk, Dalbandin, Kharan, Panjgur, Noshki, Sibi, and Naseerabad division.

 

According to the latest bulletin, partly cloudy weather with chances of light rain, wind, and thunderstorms is likely in Barkhan, Musa Khel, Zhob, Sherani, Kohlu, Khuzdar, and coastal areas, while occasional gusty winds may affect several parts of the province.

 

The maximum temperature recorded was 43.5°C in Nokkundi, while the minimum was 30.0°C in Ormara. Other notable readings included Usta Muhammad 37.0°C, Quetta 36.0°C, Turbat 36.0°C, Lasbella 36.0°C, Pasni 33.0°C, Gwadar 31.0°C, Jiwani 30.5°C, and Ormara 30.0°C.

 

Authorities have advised residents to take precautionary measures against hot and dry conditions, particularly in districts where very high temperatures are expected.

 

The forecast underscores the continuing impact of monsoon variations, with scattered rainfall possible in northern and coastal belts, while central and western Balochistan remain under intense heat.
