TDAP organizes digital literacy program for women entrepreneurs in Quetta
Quetta, The Trade Development Authority of Pakistan (TDAP), Quetta, organized a Digital Literacy Program for women entrepreneurs at the Quetta Chamber of Commerce and Industry, aimed at equipping participants with modern digital tools to expand their businesses and access new markets.
Opening remarks were delivered by TDAP Assistant Director, Asif Abro, who highlighted the importance of digital technology and the need for women entrepreneurs to embrace modern platforms for business growth. He noted that TDAP is working nationwide to enhance the capacity of women entrepreneurs and align their businesses with export standards.
The training session was conducted by Madam Hareem, who guided participants on practical use of mobile phones and digital tools, online marketing, social media promotion, effective digital showcasing of products, customer outreach, and expanding business activities through online platforms. She also demonstrated how limited resources can be effectively utilized to reach wider audiences and tap into domestic and international markets.
Women entrepreneurs participated enthusiastically, expressing keen interest in leveraging digital tools to strengthen their businesses.
In his concluding remarks, Quetta Chamber of Commerce and Industry President, Haji Muhammad Ayub Mariani, underscored the importance of such training programs in enhancing the capacity of women entrepreneurs and aligning them with modern business requirements. He praised TDAP’s initiative, noting that digital skills will empower women to access new local and international markets and contribute to sustainable economic growth.
Organizers emphasized that promoting digital literacy among women entrepreneurs will play a vital role in modernizing their businesses, expanding trade opportunities, and strengthening their economic independence.
