Chief Justice Yahya Afridi inaugurates facilitation center at Balochistan High Court
Quetta, Chief Justice of Pakistan, Justice Yahya Afridi, inaugurated the newly established Facilitation Center at the Balochistan High Court, marking a significant step toward improving access to justice and public services.
Addressing the ceremony, Justice Afridi expressed his delight at visiting Balochistan and highlighted the importance of the center in providing citizens with efficient and accessible facilities. He said that the center aims to serve litigants and lawyers by offering immediate assistance, thereby expediting the delivery of justice.
“The establishment of this center will ensure that people receive services in a more effective and convenient manner. Our wish is to see such centers in every district and tehsil of the province,” Justice Afridi remarked. He further announced the decision to establish Justice Funds to support similar initiatives nationwide, pledging that such facilities will be extended to every district across the country.
Paying tribute to the martyrs of August 8, Justice Afridi emphasized that the best way to honor their sacrifice is to continue their struggle for justice and equality.
The inauguration ceremony was attended by Chief Justice of Balochistan High Court Justice Kamran Malahkhail, judges of the Supreme Court and Balochistan High Court, Justice Rozi Khan Barech of the Federal Constitutional Court, Inspector General of Police Muhammad Tahir, Additional Secretary Home Hamza Shafqaat, senior officials, lawyers, and a large number of participants.
