Foreign investors show growing interest in Balochistan amid improved security situation

Quetta, Vice Chairman of the Balochistan Investment Board, Bilal Khan Kakar, has said that the province’s security situation is steadily improving, encouraging investors from across the globe, including the United States, to explore opportunities in Balochistan. He noted that international investors are particularly keen on the province’s mineral sector, alongside other industries.

Bilal Khan Kakar emphasized that under the leadership of Chief Minister Mir Sarfraz Bugti, investor-friendly policies and a clear vision have created a conducive environment for investment. He added that the provincial government is committed to providing all possible facilities to investors and promoting business activities through practical measures.

Highlighting the province’s vast resources, Bilal Khan Kakar said that modern technology and investment can unlock Balochistan’s potential, generating new employment opportunities and strengthening the provincial economy. He further explained that the Balochistan Investment Board is actively engaging with domestic and foreign investors to inform them about available opportunities and ensure they receive comprehensive support.

The government’s priority, he stressed, is to provide a one-window facility, essential information, and ease of coordination with relevant institutions. Bilal Kakar predicted that in the coming days, more investments across various sectors are expected, urging both local and international investors to take advantage of Balochistan’s opportunities and contribute to its economic development.
