Commissioner Lasbela reviews development projects in Uthal, orders timely completion and quality assurance
Commissioner Lasbela Division Saira Atta visited the divisional headquarters in Uthal, where she inspected various ongoing development projects including the Commissioner Complex offices, 50-bed District Headquarters Hospital Uthal, Bypass Road project, and other schemes across the district.
During the visit, Commissioner Saira Atta received detailed briefings from Deputy Commissioner Lasbela Humaira Baloch and Executive Engineer B&R Khalil Baloch regarding the progress of development works. She personally examined the pace of work, construction quality, and facilities being provided to the public.
Issuing directives to concerned officials, the Commissioner stressed that all projects must be completed within the stipulated timeframe so that citizens can benefit from them at the earliest. She emphasized that no compromise on quality will be tolerated, and strict adherence to construction standards and regulations must be ensured.
Commissioner Saira Atta highlighted that the Government of Balochistan is committed to providing basic facilities and sustainable development in the region. She noted that timely completion of schemes will not only improve public services but also strengthen the overall development process in Lasbela.
She instructed officials to maintain regular monitoring and effective field supervision to guarantee quality standards. Atta made it clear that delays in public-interest projects will not be accepted, and transparency must be ensured in all schemes.
District officers also briefed the Commissioner on the progress and challenges faced in ongoing projects. She directed them to take necessary steps to resolve issues and accelerate the pace of work.
The Commissioner expressed satisfaction over the construction work of the B&R building, while stressing the importance of continued oversight. The visit was attended by DHO Lasbela Dr. Fareedullah Shah Hashmi, Acting MS Dr. Tasadduq Nadeem, SDO B&R Road Zaheer Ahmed Baloch, SDO B&R Building Latif Baloch, Engineer Najeeb Baloch, Superintendent Commissioner Lasbela Ghulam Murtaza Sheikh, contractor Shams Durani, Engineer Safar Baloch, and other officials.
