Three-Day Balochistan Model United Nations Youth Program starts at BUITEMS

In line with the vision and directives of Chief Minister Balochistan Mir Sarfraz Bugti to empower youth and enhance their leadership skills, the Balochistan Board of Investment and Trade (BBOIT) has launched the three-day Balochistan Model United Nations (BMUN) Youth Program at the Balochistan University of Information Technology, Engineering and Management Sciences (BUITEMS).

The program provides students with a platform to engage in dialogue, debate, and discussions on key national and international issues, while presenting solutions and recommendations. Addressing the inaugural ceremony, BBOIT Chief Executive Officer Qaim Lashari said that the youth are the future and most valuable asset of Balochistan. He emphasized the importance of equipping young people with modern skills, positive thinking, leadership qualities, and entrepreneurial awareness to meet contemporary challenges.

Qaim Lashari assured that BBOIT will continue to support initiatives that transform youth potential into economic opportunities. He noted that BMUN programs play a vital role in fostering leadership, research, dialogue, decision-making, critical thinking, and problem-solving abilities among students.

He further highlighted that under the leadership of Chief Minister Sarfraz Bugti, the provincial government is taking practical steps to make youth effective partners in the development process. BBOIT, he added, remains committed to promoting entrepreneurial capacity and enabling young people to achieve economic independence.
