Commissioner Lasbela praises attock cement’s CSR initiatives during factory visit

Commissioner Lasbela Division Saira Atta visited the Attock Cement Factory, where she was briefed on the company’s performance, production activities, and ongoing Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) programs. Senior Manager Shakir Hussain and Senior Administrative Officer Colonel Razaullah presented details of the factory’s operations and welfare initiatives.

Commissioner Saira Atta commended the implementation of health and safety SOPs for workers and the welfare measures being carried out under the CSR program. She emphasized that industrial institutions play a vital role in the welfare of local communities, noting that Attock Cement’s initiatives in health, education, and community development are encouraging steps that contribute to both labor welfare and regional economic activity.

She expressed hope that the factory management would continue to support the people of Hub through similar welfare projects in the future. During her visit, Commissioner Saira Atta also participated in a tree plantation drive within the factory premises, underscoring the importance of environmental improvement. She voiced confidence that Attock Cement would further expand its role in promoting sustainability and community well‑being.
