Abdul Jabbar finally appointed on merit in Usta Muhammad
In line with Chief Minister Balochistan Mir Sarfraz Bugti’s policy of merit, transparency, and public relief, Abdul Jabbar, a resident of Usta Muhammad, has finally get employment after a long wait of 29 years.
Commissioner Naseerabad Division Salahuddin Noorzai, acting on directives from the CM, Chief Secretary Shakeel Qadir Khan, and Senior Member of Board of Revenue Qambar Dashti, issued orders for Abdul Jabbar’s temporary appointment strictly on merit and rules.
Abdul Jabbar completed his Patwari course in 1997, but during the training his father passed away. Bound by academic obligations, he could not even attend his father’s funeral. Despite the grief, he obtained his qualification, yet his dream of government service remained unfulfilled for nearly three decades.
Throughout these years, Jabbar persistently pursued employment, visiting government offices and enduring hardships, but never lost hope. His financial struggles were evident when he had to sell his daughter’s gold earring just to afford fuel for his motorcycle to travel to the divisional headquarters.
Upon reaching the Commissioner’s office recently, he learned that the decision regarding temporary appointments had already been made on merit. When the appointment orders were handed to him, his 29 years of patience and struggle turned into tears of joy. He expressed heartfelt gratitude to Allah and described it as the most memorable moment of his life.
