Secretary Babar Khan inspects Balochistan High Court expansion project, orders faster pace of work
Secretary Communications and Works Babar Khan conducted a detailed inspection of the Balochistan High Court expansion project, reviewing ongoing construction activities and progress. Senior officials including Chief Engineer Quetta Zone Abdul Rahim Bangulzai, Chief Architect Dr. Sohrab Marri, and Executive Engineer Building Kachlak Division Umar Munir accompanied him during the visit.
During the briefing, officials informed the Secretary about the overall progress, construction phases, technical aspects, architectural design, challenges faced, and the proposed timeline for completion. They also highlighted the quality standards being applied and the upcoming stages of the project.
Secretary Babar Khan inspected various sections of the site, assessing construction quality, pace of work, and available resources. Expressing dissatisfaction over delays, he issued strict instructions that no negligence or postponement would be tolerated. He directed that all tasks must be completed strictly within the scheduled timeframe.
He emphasized that the expansion of the High Court building is of critical importance, as its completion will provide modern and improved facilities to litigants, lawyers, and court staff. He reiterated that timely completion of the project is among the government’s top priorities, urging all departments to work in close coordination and maintain effective communication.
The Secretary ordered that construction activities be accelerated and carried out round-the-clock to achieve targets within the limited timeframe. He stressed that any form of negligence, slackness, or compromise on quality would be unacceptable. Continuous monitoring of pace and standards was also directed to ensure the project is completed on time and to the highest standards.
