Scorching heat grips Balochistan, Dalbandin records 44°C

 

Hot weather continues to dominate most districts of Balochistan, with the mercury climbing to 44°C in Dalbandin, the highest recorded temperature, while the lowest was 31°C in Jiwani.

 

According to the Regional Meteorological Center Quetta, very hot conditions are expected in Nokkundi, Washuk, Dalbandin, Kharan, Noshki, Panjgur, Kech, Awaran, Sibi districts and Naseerabad division over the next 48 to 72 hours. Meanwhile, partly cloudy skies with chances of rain, wind and thunderstorms are likely at isolated places in Zhob, Sherani, Barkhan, Musakhail, Kohlu, Ziarat, Harnai, Loralai, Duki, Killa Saifullah, Khuzdar, Surab and Kalat. Strong gusty winds may also sweep across most parts of the province.

 

The weather chart shows Quetta at 38°C, Khuzdar and Lasbella at 37.5°C, Uthal at 37°C, Surab and Barkhan at 36.5°C, Kalat at 34°C, Pasni at 33°C, Gwadar and Ormara at 31.5°C, and Jiwani at 31°C.
