On the joyous occasion of Pakistan’s 79th Independence Day, Syed Abul Hassan Meiri, the Director General (DG) of Khana-e-Farhang Iran in Quetta, extended heartfelt congratulations to the people of Pakistan, particularly the citizens of Quetta and Balochistan.

In a video message, Syed Abul Hassan Meiri said that August 14 is not merely a Calendar celebration but a testament to the courage of a proud nation that struggled valiantly for its identity and freedom. He noted that in recent months, the unwavering support and sympathy expressed across Pakistan proved that the bond between the two nations is indissoluble and far beyond geographical boundaries.

He highlighted that Iran and Pakistan have been spiritually connected for centuries through shared music, art, architecture, and everyday language ties that borders can never sever.

Meiri described Quetta as his second home, where he witnesses daily evidence of this heartfelt connection.

The Director General of Khana-e-Farhang prayed for Pakistan’s bright future, the steadfastness of its people’s resolve, and declared “Pak-Iran friendship zindabad” as he extended Independence Day greetings to the nation.
