Balochistan Investment Board marks Independence Day with renewed commitment to national prosperity

Vice Chairman of the Balochistan Board of Investment and Trade (BBoIT), Bilal Khan Kakar, has said that Pakistan is the result of immense sacrifices, struggle, and unparalleled resolve. He emphasized that Independence Day is not only a time to remember the sacrifices of forefathers but also an opportunity to renew the nation’s commitment to development, prosperity, and stability.

Speaking at an Independence Day ceremony held at the BBoIT office, Kakar underscored that unity, faith, discipline, and national solidarity are the guiding principles that can make Pakistan strong and prosperous. The event was attended by BBoIT Chief Executive Officer Qaim Lashari, officers, and other officials. The national flag was hoisted, a cake was cut, and special prayers were offered for the country’s security, progress, and prosperity.

Highlighting Balochistan’s vast economic potential, Kakar said the province is rich in natural resources, minerals, coastline, Gwadar Port, renewable energy, agriculture, livestock, fisheries, and tourism. He stressed that these resources can be transformed into opportunities for economic growth through modern technology, investment, and effective planning. “On this day, we must pledge to harness Balochistan’s economic strengths to contribute to the stability of the national economy,” he added.

CEO Qaim Lashari congratulated the nation on the 79th Independence Day, describing Pakistan’s freedom as a great blessing of Allah. He said safeguarding this blessing and contributing to the country’s development and prosperity is a shared responsibility. Lashari noted that economic growth, employment generation, and investment promotion are the foundations of a strong and prosperous Pakistan. He reaffirmed that BBoIT is committed to creating an investor‑friendly environment, promoting trade and industry, and generating new business and employment opportunities in the province.
