CM Balochistan leads Independence Day celebrations at Pakistan Point, Gwadar

 

 

Chief Minister Balochistan Mir Sarfraz Ahmed Bugti attended a grand Independence Day ceremony at Pakistan Point, Koh Batil, Gwadar, where national spirit, cultural colors, and vibrant performances filled the atmosphere with festive joy.

 

The event began with the recitation of the Holy Quran, followed by the hoisting of the national flag by the Chief Minister. The program featured national songs, Balochi folk music, student performances, a special tableau by Gwadar Arts Academy, and the traditional Leva dance, captivating the audience. A spectacular fireworks display illuminated the Gwadar sky, adding brilliance to the Independence Day celebrations.

 

The participation of Chinese nationals in the ceremony further highlighted the spirit of Pak‑China friendship and goodwill. Citizens from diverse walks of life also joined the celebrations, expressing their love and devotion to the homeland.

 

Speaking at the occasion, Chief Minister Sarfraz Bugti said Pakistan’s independence is both a great blessing and a national responsibility. He emphasized that youth are the country’s bright future, and providing them with education, skills, and opportunities for positive activities is among the government’s top priorities.

 

The ceremony also recognized outstanding individuals and students from various fields, who were honored with awards for their achievements. The Independence Day celebrations at Pakistan Point became a vivid reflection of national unity, patriotism, cultural heritage, and the collective resolve for Pakistan’s progress.
